Description

A simple but comfortable farm in a remote spot inland, close to the impressive rock formation of Lajedo do Pai Mateus. There is a pool and sauna and a good restaurant serving traditional, local cuisine.

Activities

Visits to the fascinating and enigmatic sites of Ingá, the largest monolith in Brazil with a profusion of figures carved thousands of years ago, and to one of the most unique landscapes of this region where enormous boulders perch on rounded huge granite hills. The site shows signs of human occupation since the Pleistocene era and was also home to the megafauna of this time: mastodons, giant sloths and sabre-toothed tigers.

Accommodation

Rooms are in semi-detached cabins with a private bathroom and a hammock outside. Meals are included which are very good and there is always a lot to choose from.
