Description

A charming small pousada in the historic centre on a pedestrianised cobbled street, converted from a colonial house. There is a good breakfast, and a variety of local restaurants are a short walk away for other meals.

Activities

From here you can explore the dunes and fresh-water lagoons of the Lençois Maranhenses National Park. Bumba-meu-Boi is the São Luis carnival with celebrations throughout June.

Accommodation

Rooms are simple and quirky and all have a private bathroom. Only two rooms overlook the cobbled streets.
