Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba
Near Urubamba (Sacred Valley, Peru)
A contemporary hacienda-style hotel in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, with wonderful views of the Andes mountains. There is an elegant bar and dining room, which serves fresh food directly from the hacienda's own ten acre organic garden.
There are self-guided trails directly from the hacienda or for an additional cost, guests can organise a visit to nearby ruins and markets such as Huchuy Qosqo and Chinchero. Bikes are also available to hire and the property has it's own farm which guests can visit.
There are thirty six rooms split between three different categories (superior deluxe, junior suite and suite). There is also a separate 'owner's quarters' which can accommodate up to six guests in their own private space. All of the rooms have views of the Sacred Valley and have been decorated with textiles and ornaments in keeping with local culture.
Part of the Peruvian Inkaterra chain, which also has properties in Cusco, Machu Picchu and the Peruvian Amazon.
