Huaraz (Cordillera Blanca, Peru)

The best hotel in Huaraz, Swiss run, with superb views of surrounding peaks. There is a small restaurant.

There are 40 modern rooms, divided between the main house and a newer annexe. The best are those facing the mountains with a small balcony.

The hotel has no real character though is perfectly comfortable.

The Andino Club was fantastic, both for helpfulness and friendliness and good food and rooms. - SS (July 2006)
