A beautiful Spanish colonial-style villa with 360 degree panoramic views of the Poás, Barva and Irazú volcanoes. With pleasant gardens, a pool and friendly staff, the Buena Vista makes a wonderful base from which to organise tours to places such as the Doka coffee plantation and La Paz Waterfall gardens.

Accommodation

There are 30 rooms spread across the main building and smaller, individual villas in the hotel’s gardens. Rooms in the main building have king or queen beds, some sleeping up to 5 people. The villas are spacious and all have a private balcony.

A great option for short stays near the city, and only a 20 minute drive from the international airport.
