Description

A restored 1920s mansion with views to the bay. There is an excellent restaurant, terrace and outdoor pool. The cosy living room is a great area to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening, or read a book.

Accommodation

The 20 rooms vary slightly in size and decor, but all are lovely. Dark wooden floors with light and bright soft furnishings compliment each other. Some rooms have a private terrace and view to the bay and hills.

What a superb hotel Casa Higueras is. Perfect location, beautifully converted and appointed, with fabulous views of the bay and harbour. You could not have chosen better for us and small boutique hotels are the way to go! Nothing was too much trouble and we would have loved to stay longer. It was great walking from the hotel, just moments to the wondrous Art Nouveau Palacio Baburizza and the street art in this part of town is amazing. We have so many photos! - AC (March 2020)

Valparaiso more than lived up to my husband's 20-year dream of going there ..... Hotel Casa Higueras was very lush and the food was amazing, in particular the seven course New Year's Eve dinner! The streets around the hotel are great for wandering, with lots of little bars and restaurants on the hillside. - ER (January 2009)
