Description

An exclusive design hotel on a hillside of the Rilán peninsula, 18km from Castro. Designed to blend in with the natural landscape it is surrounded by gentle hills, native trees and the Pullao wetland, where many endemic birds and marine species can be found. Previously called Tierra Chiloé.

Activities

Guests have the option to stay either on an all inclusive basis or on a bed and breakfast basis. For those opting to staying on an all inclusive basis there is a selection of guided excursions to choose from, designed to enable guests to discover the magic, culture and nature of the archipelago. Options include cultural trips, riding, biking, hiking and wildlife viewing. The 'Williche' traditional wooden boat also takes guests through nearby channels to neighbouring islands.

Accommodation

There are 24 rooms including 2 suites. The rooms are either a sea (Rilán) or wetland (Pullao) view. There are plenty of common areas both inside and outside with space to relax. There is also a spa with a pool, dry sauna, steam room, massage room and outdoor cold pool.

Client comments and reviews

Open QuoteThe drive from Puerto Varas to Tierra Chiloe was long. However, the lodge is of a highest standard, very beautiful building, the service, rooms and food of highest possible standard. It was lovely to be there but all the good walks are far away and involve a 2 hour car drive each way! We felt the island has no particular natural beauty but the coast is lovely and we had a 2 full day walks. 3 nights was good.Close Quote - EW (October 2023)
