Description
A lovely boutique hotel which was once a palace from the 1900s. It is next to Zabala Square and close to many museums. There is no restaurant but there is a tea room and lounge bar, and also a roof terrace with good views.
Accommodation
Only 15 rooms, each named and themed around different historic Uruguayan figures. The rooms are divided into three categories; Classic, Superior and Suite with the general difference being room size.
Our comments
A beautiful hotel but there are not too many options for dining out in the evening which are within walking distance.
Client comments and reviews
The Alma Historica hotel was in a nice location and the staff were really helpful. Carnival practice was going on in the street below one evening which was a real treat.
