Description
A pretty lodge with extensive gardens, an outdoor pool, an aviary and a large restaurant. Nestled in the trees between Ataco and Apaneca in the coffee growing region, known as the Ruta de las Flores, it is ideally situated for visiting coffee plantations and the nearby villages of interest.
Activities
The Apaneca Canopy tour is close by, with 12 cables through the tree canopy. There are waterfalls and viewpoints nearby and some excellent hiking. Mountain biking, riding and bird watching can be organised and you can visit a nearby coffee mill.
Accommodation
All rooms have a terrace, hammock, two double beds and a private bathroom. There are also some larger cabañas for families.
Our comments
The restaurant is huge and attacts groups, particularly at lunchtime, on day trips from the coast.
