Description
On the southern shores of Lake Viedma, 150km north of Calafate, Helsingfors Station was founded by a Finn, Alfred Ramström, at the beginning of this century.
Activities
Excursions include riding to Laguna Azul (fed by a glacier), boat trips on the lake, and a lovely hike to the Moyano Glacier, quite apart from enjoyment of the lovely mountain scenery, flora and fauna around the estancia.
Accommodation
In the 60's the current owners built the guest accommodation of 8 comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, with power from a hydraulic turbine.
