Chile from north to south
Travel from one end to the other of this beautiful country and enjoy a range of temperatures and a variety of experiences.
Santiago
Days 1-2: Stay in downtown Santiago at Hotel Galerias and have an afternoon tour of the highlights of the city.
Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales
Day 3: Fly to Punta Arenas where you will be driven towards the national park for a night in the sleepy town of Puerto Natales, at Hotel Costaustralis with its beautiful waterfront view.
Torres del Paine
Days 4-5: Transfer into the Torres del Paine national park, to stay for two nights at remote Hosteria Las Torres, which is perfectly positioned for hiking and exploring the mountain scenery.
Days 6-7: Cross into a different part of the park to stay two nights at Hosteria Lago Grey, close to the Grey glacier and with lovely views from the sitting room.
The Lake District
Days 8-9: Leave the park and fly north from Punta Arenas to Puerto Montt, to stay for two nights in the Lake District, at Hotel Puelche, a boutique hotel in Puerto Varas. Have an excursion to the Osorno volcano or Petrohue Falls.
The Atacama desert
Days 10-12: Fly up to Calama to start a three day adventure in the Atacama desert region. Hotel Altiplanico is a comfortable base from which to see the geysers and stunning arid landscapes.
The wine valleys
Days 13-15: Return to Santiago and transfer one hour south of the city to the wine region, to stay at Casa Real, a charming and relaxing country house hotel on the estate of the Santa Rita vineyard.
