A large hotel just off the main square, next to the cathedral and government buildings. It is well located for exploring the city and is the only hotel in this part of town that has a pool. A small pousada in the eastern quarter of the historic centre. There are 27 simple rooms, most of which overlook a central courtyard. It is plainly decorated with some interesting features such as colourful tiled walls and a sweeping staircase. The upper floors offer great views of the terracotta-tiled roofs of the old town.
