Description
A delightful island retreat on Lake Nicaragua, just 20 minutes by speedboat from Granada.
Activities
There is a very pretty pool with sun loungers and several areas in which to relax in the shade. The open air restaurant faces the lake and has fine views to the Mombacho volcano. There is a small beach of imported sand (with two deckchairs) but nowhere on the island to walk.
Accommodation
There are nine identical casitas, each with ocean view and private terrace. Downstairs is sitting area and bathroom and upstairs is the bedroom, with mosquito nets and powerful ceiling fan.
Our comments
A lovely relaxing option to combine with a visit to Granada.
