Golf in Latin America

Summary

Latin America offers wonderful golf throughout both South and Central America with a wide range of courses set against a variety of dramatic backdrops. Brazil, Argentina, Mexico and Chile are the more popular destinations for golfers but courses can be found in most countries. Latin America even boasts the world’s highest course in Bolivia (La Paz) and the most southern courses in the world in Argentina (Ushuaia). Regardless of skill level, there is something for everyone, be it the lush fairways in the wilds of Patagonia or the luxurious coastal resorts of northern Brazil. The sport is becoming more and more popular in this part of the world attracting course designers such as Jack Nicklaus, Dan Blankenship and Dr Alister Mackenzie.
