The Aubrey

Location

Bellavista (Santiago, Chile)

Description

Closed until further notice.

Santiago's first luxury boutique hotel in the trendy Bellavista district with its fine restaurants and bars, and also just round the corner from La Chascona.

Activities

Patio Bellavista is in the next block, with many artisan and jewelery stalls as well as snack bars. Pablo Neruda's museum 'La Chascona' is just round the corner, and the hotel itself sits at the bottom of Cerro San Cristobal, which you can take a funicular up for views over the city.

Accommodation

There are a range of rooms in the main building, plus additional rooms are being built at the back in a separate area that will also house a bar.

Our comments

A lovely place to stay - with plenty going on around you but also a quiet haven where you can relax in the outside pool or in one of the lounges. The owners have done themselves proud investing in 2 properties and combining them to make one beautiful hotel.

Client comments and reviews

Open QuoteWe liked the Hotel Aubrey in Santiago very much. The staff were friendly and the location was great. We did, however, request a different room for our second visit as there was a lot of revelry in the local area that went on till very late and so we requested a room away from the street.Close Quote - BJ (January 2014)
Open QuoteAubrey was a lovely hotel in a great position in Bellavista. Would highly recommend it. Our room [Room 1], was lovely with a big terrace.Close Quote - GW (October 2013)
Open QuoteThe Aubrey was superb - great room with terrace, lovely staff, quirky building, and wonderful pool area which we took advantage of. Probably one of the nicest city hotels we have ever stayed in.Close Quote - JL (January 2013)
Open QuoteHotel Aubrey was lovely, staff so helpful and facilities excellent. The courtyard garden was so relaxing and the room was very comfortable – we were glad of the air conditioning. Wish we had had more time there.Close Quote - BW (December 2012)
Open QuoteThe Aubrey was wonderful. Mark, one of the owners, arranged to get us a bouquet of roses for our daughter's host mom, and then, when we returned from Atacama, put us in the hotel's suite Saturday night.Close Quote - JG (July 2012)
Open QuoteThe Aubrey is excellent, they were so helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend it. The owner is always around and obviously takes great pride in the whole experience, the staff were really helpful, it was very very clean, lovely food and an excellent bar. It was altogether a great experience and benefits from being in Bella Vista which is great with loads of restaurants - 10 out of 10!Close Quote - SO (May 2012)
Open QuoteThe Aubrey is an absolutely superb hotel and we had a wonderful, spacious west-facing room with a balcony. There are only a few with balconies (the others face the pool) and it was ideal for us. The owners were delightful, as were all the staff, and the pool, dining area, terrace, bar and outside bar area were wonderful and very, very chic! We also enjoyed being in Bella Vista and felt it was perfectly situated.Close Quote - JD (January 2012)
