Responsible Tourism Summary
All of the Last Frontiers team feel very strongly that we need to work together with both our suppliers on the ground and our clients to ensure the long-term sustainability of what we do.
We have elaborated a working document (RT Policy), and Code of Ethics (given to all clients) and are usually working on several specific initiatives.
Whilst
we certainly do not do this to gain awards and indeed steer clear of most
of the so-called accreditation schemes, we are proud to have been awarded
AITO 5-star Responsible Tourism/Sustainable Travel status (the highest available).
We are a founder donor to the LATA Foundation (set up by the Latin American
Travel Association), whose aims are sustainable development, environmental
protection, and the promotion of responsible tourism in Latin America.
