Belize - Jungle and diving with whale sharks

A great combination of forest wildlife and the wonderful experience of diving with whale sharks.

Cayo District

Days 1-4: Driven from Belize City to the Cayo district and The Lodge at Chaa Creek, a great base to explore the forest and river. There are 294 species of bird in the area and you may be lucky to see paca, agouti and howler monkeys. Possible activities are canoeing, mountain biking, riding, birdwatching and hiking.

Dangriga, Placencia and Punta Gorda

Days 5-12: Driven to Placencia and the Inn at Robert's Grove. Enjoy three days of diving with whale sharks and and two days of reef diving (two dives per day). Kayaks, canoes and bicycles are also available. On your final day fly from Placencia to Belize City for international connections.

Includes all meals and all dive gear. Note that if arriving from Europe an overnight in the US (not included) is currently necessary. Whale shark diving is only possible around the full moons in April, May and June. Ask us for more details.
