Sacred Valley

Days 1-3: After a night in Lima at the family-run and colonial Hotel Antigua Miraflores, fly to Cusco and drive to the Hotel Sol y Luna for a 2 night stay. Visit Maras, Moray and the local market at Pisac.

Machu Picchu

Day 4: From Ollantaytambo take the train to Aguas Calientes and on by bus up to Machu Picchu. Afternoon exploring with a guide, before descending to the Inkaterra Machu Picchu hotel, with its own orchid trail.

Cusco

Days 5-6: Return by train to Cusco for 2 nights at the friendly Hotel Los Apus, three blocks from the central square in the pretty San Blas district. Visit Sacsayhuaman and other nearby ruins.

Lake Titicaca

Days 7-8: The 8 hour bus journey to Puno includes guided visits to Racqui, Pucará y Andahuaylillas. Spend 2 nights at the Hotel Libertador Isla Esteves, with views across Lake Titicaca to the Cordillera Real.

Lima

Day 9: After a full day tour to Sillustani and Lampa, then fly to Lima for a night at the Antigua Miraflores.

Pacific coast

Day 10: Fly to Guayaquil and overnight at the Hampton Inn, close to the iguana-filled Parque Bolívar and restored promenade.

Galapagos Islands

Days 11-17: Morning flight to the Galapagos, and embark on your chosen boat for a week-long cruise. An experienced naturalist guide will ensure you learn the most about the unique wildlife you will see as you visit the different islands.

Quito

Days 18-20: Fly to Quito for 2 nights at the Patio Andaluz, a small colonial hotel in the heart of the city, with a day to explore this beautiful colonial city before departure.
