Uruguay Chic

Colonia

Days 1-2: Collect your hire car from Montevideo airport and drive for 2 and half hours to Colonia. Stay at Casa de los Limoneros for the next 2 nights. Colonia is a pretty, colonial cobbled street town with shady plazas and a lighthouse. It's perfect for a relaxing wander!

Montevideo

Day 3: Drive back to Montevideo at leisure and overnight.

North of Punta

Days 4-8: Drive along the coast for 2 and a half hours to Jose Ignacio, a small fishing village with a relaxed atmosphere and old lighthouse. Stay for 4 nights at Posada del Faro, enjoy the long, sandy beach or drive further along the coast to the sand dunes of Cabo Polonio.

Montevideo

Day 9: Drive back to Montevideo and drop the car hire at the airport before catching your onward connection.
