Yavari, Lake Titicaca
Puno (Lake Titicaca, Peru)
An historic steamship, built in 1862, abandoned, decayed, and subsequently restored to her former glory. Moored opposite the Posada del Inca and available for visits and bed and breakfast by prior arrangement.
There are four cabins, three of which have a pair of bunk beds and one a single bunk. The bathroom is shared.
As Meriel Larken says, there is "no other way of spending a night afloat on the world-famous Lake Titicaca".
