Chiloé (Chiloé Island, Chile)

Description

A rustic yet elegant, wooden motor cruiser designed in the style of Chiloe’s traditional fishing boats that offers 2, 3 and 5 night cruises through the islands of Chiloe. Very small and intimate, the Ona represents a labour of love for its owner and was built using local techniques and plenty of native wood. The sitting area is warm and accommodating with plenty of maps and cushions while the chef works in a separate kitchen towards the stern. Other communal areas include the small bridge as well as deck space at the stern and on top of the boat. Cruises focus on the traditional heritage of the Chiloé archipelago.

Accommodation

There are 4 very cosy en suite cabins,  3 with berths and one at the bow with 2 singles. The heads are all wet-rooms.

Our comments

Charming and full of heart, the Ona is a real sailor's boat with lmited space and very cosy cabins. Perhaps better suited to a family charter.
